One of my absolute favorite pet photographers, Charlotte Reeves, recently launched her first e-book on natural light dog photography. When she first told me about it, I just knew I needed to own it. Learning about pet photography has been on my long list of Things To Master and while I was formally taught in commercial photography and have even taken a few jobs photographing pets, I still have much to learn in photographing pets.
Charlotte’s images are incredible and I often find myself sitting with envy whenever I see her post a new session on facebook. I’m so honored to have gotten to know her over the last year and find myself constantly inspired by what she’s doing with animals. She uses her talent for the greater good and I look forward to seeing what other brilliant projects she unleashes in the future. The e-book itself blows my mind. Not only is it beautiful, but it has more information than I thought possible… Info about working with dogs, gear and equipment, how to plan a session, how to choose a location, how to photograph the tricky black or white dog, etc etc etc. So much brilliant info, I just got bit by the inspiration bug and just want to get out there and photograph every dog I can.
Whether you’re just an instagram fanatic, an ameature photographer looking to increase your knowledge, or even if you’re a pro already working with animals, you will definitely get some great inspiration and knowledge from this book.
Charlotte was very generous and she gave me an exclusive discount to share with my faithful D+J followers. Save $20 on her e-book by using the code DIESEL and instead of the great price of only 69AUD, you get it for an even better price of 49AUD! The code is only valid for a week so don’t delay and join me in the quest for better dog photos worthy of taking over the instagram world!
