Have you heard of the small things blog? If you’re a big Pinterest fan, you’ve probably seen her hair tutorials. That’s exactly how I found Kate…
I had seen her videos and pictures floating around but never really clicked through to her website until the day I came home from an absolutely DREADFUL haircut. I had to see a new stylist because we had just moved cities and I didn’t want to drive 2 hours south to my old hair stylist. After putting it off for 3 months, I took the plunge all we woman hate to make, and I chose someone new. I told her I wanted long side swept bangs and what did I get? Short straight bangs just at my eye brows.. WHAT?!
I cringed when I saw her take that first cut and saw that there was no going back… I was doomed for the next 6 months to live out my life with terrible short staticy bangs.. I held my composure, assured her I would be fine and went home and cried. My boyfriend did his best to tell me they were fine but I could hear him struggle to say it. They were terrible!
I remembered kate’s hair tutorial on bangs and ran to Pinterest to find it. She had an excellent tutorial on twisting the bangs up and pinning them. Oh thank heavens for this tutorial! I have been rocking this look for at least 4 months now because its the only way I can get them to look good. Not only are my bangs hidden until they grow out but I get tons of compliments!
Kate is amazing and you should really check out her blog and all of her hair tutorials. For two days she’s hosting a giveaway for D+J with THREE opportunities to win! You have four entry options so get on over there and enter!
